Lechner Laminate Worktops Design C+S
lechner C+S

C+S stands for Colour + Structure which means embossed laminate kitchen worktops. Embossing the laminate is a refining technique to gain interesting optical effects – therefore C+S by Lechner kitchen worktops is similar to variegated or brushed stone surfaces. The collection includes 8 different single-colour designs, though the main focus is on grey and earth tints.

  • Standard depths:   60 cm, 75 cm, 90 cm, 120 cm
  • Panel thicknesses:  30mm, 40mm, 60mm, 80mm and 100 mm
  • Maximum joint-less length: 301 cm
How to clean Lechner laminate kitchen worktops
Wipe away light soiling with a paper wipe, soft cloth, sponge or similar material (dry or damp). Remove everyday marks and stains with water (warm), a cloth, sponge or brush, using commercially available, non-scouring cleaners. Depending on the degree of staining, you may need to allow the kitchen worktops cleaner time to work, before wiping down clean.
In the case of stubborn stains on kitchen worktops (long-standing marks), use washing powder or a water and washing powder solution (leave to act over night); or liquid cleansing agents with very fine polishing chalk (not suitable for high-gloss surfaces). Use organic solvents to remove grease, oil, wax, etc. It is advisable not to use furniture polish or any cleaning agents that contain grease and wax. These tend to leave deposits in the surface structure building up a layer that attracts dirt. Scraping or scouring agents (scouring powder, steel wool) are not suitable for everyday cleaning.

Do not use cleaning agents that contain strong acids or consist of strong saline solutions. The use of organic solvents, cold water or used cloths and wash leathers may leave marks and smears on the surface. To remove these, wipe the surface with warm water and dry with paper wipes. Any humidity (standing water, wet sponge) around butt joints should be removed immediately. Hot saucepans, frying pans or metal trays can damage the work surface. You should always use a table mat. Cutting on a laminate surface causes scratches. Therefore, the use of a cutting board is recommended on Lechner kitchen worktops.
