Apollo quartz kitchen worktops are made from over 90% quartz which is one of the most varied minerals occuring in different types, colours and forms. Each has its own unique appearance. Quartz is found in the ground, in sand in rocks and in most geological environments. Quartz has a radiance similar to that of diamonds with rich aesthetics and extraordinary strength and durability. Boldly sophisticated yet coolly serene, Apollo quartz kitchen worktops make a personal statement that will stand the test of time. Quartz has many of the properties of granite and can sometimes outperform it in terms oif its porosity, hardness and flexural strength. Apollo Slab kitchen worktops

Apollo slab kitchen worktops are made from mineral filled polyester resins. It is a remarkably durable material ideal for daily wear and tear. This scratch resistant surface is non porous and has a natural resistance to bacteria so it is ideal for kitchen worktops. Dark finishes will show marks more easily however the surface can have any stains or scratches buffed out.Apollo® Slab Tech has become increasing popular as kitchen worktops,with it’s “chunky good looks” and unlike many other solid surface worktops, Apollo® Slab Tech is a “solid 30mm” and has no MDF or Chipboard sub structure!
Although Apollo® Slab Tech kitchen worktops are a solid surface, with much sought after attributes such as inconspicuous joints, it also has the highly desirable appearance of quartz. Apollo® Slab Tech worktops have a silky smooth finish to the surface and is a 30mm solid through coloured, resin filled mineral material. Apollo® Slab Tech is water, chemical and impact resistant and in extreme cases where accidental damage occurs, the kitchen worktops surface can be repaired/restored to original finish.
Apollo® Slab Tech kitchen worktops are warm and inviting to the touch, as it takes on the ambient room temperature, it will also absorb every day knocks, whereas laminate and other similar products could be damaged beyond repair. Not only is Apollo® Slab Tech resistant to most kitchen stains, but additionally stains and accidental damage can be polished out with mild abrasive cleaners and in extreme circumstances, damaged parts of the kitchen worktops surface can even be repaired or renewed.

Apollo solid surface kitchen worktops provide an inexpensive alterantive to Corian. The material is 6mm thick and is bonded to an mdf subframe available up to 100mm thick. Apollo solid surface worktops are warm and inviting to the touch and are remarkably durable. The joints are inconspicuous and sinks undermount perfectly giving a seamless appearance to kitchens.
